Finally got round to downloading Radiohead’s new album today. Been out of the loop for the last wee while, completely missed the fanfare.
Decided it should cost me a fiver. Drop me bacon sandwich, as they used to say in loaded in the early days before it became illiterate pr0n.
Great concept for distribution though. Seems Rent Treznor and Saul Williams are taking similar routes with the delightfully-named The Inevitable Rise And Liberation Of Niggy Tardust.
Just found a ton of great stuff on the Radiohead blog DEAD AIR SPACE. But there is no link to feed Google Reader. TWATMONGERS.

I downloaded Niggy Tardust last night and had to resort to burning it onto a CD to bring to work and listen to on the laptop. My beloved iPod has joined Aaron’s in Apple Heaven, a place no doubt suffering a huge population boom.
The album sounds great, downloaded it for $5 which meant I got the high-quality 320kbps version (you could download 192kbps version for free). Quite an improvement over the In Rainbows 160kbps debacle.

I have just discovered the amazingness of Yahoo Pipes, for purposes of twisting the web and making it sit up and do tricks.
You can now get the feedified Radiohead blog through my pipe, as it were.

Radiohead did a webcast or something which I missed. However since Adam Buxton organised it he subsequently posted some very nice video stuff on his site, including but not limited to an al fresco Faust Arp (mmm) and a helmet-cam Jigsaw.
