Congratulations CJ, glad the interview outfit worked it's magic.
All this talk of jobs and stuff is making me wonder, "Holy Jebus, I've been in this place 4 years, is it time for a change?"
Maybe, but the chat here is unbeatable so I think I'll hang around, lol. I'm pretty sure that's the reason so many of us have stayed in this hellhole.

Thank you, I am v excited. Though, there's always the tiny disappointment that choosing one thing means not choosing something else. But it's only a one year contract, hardly a life sentence
When does your new job start, bean?
>unbeatable chat
That's reason enough to stay anywhere IMO.
No more clothes chat from me, I can wear what the hell I like from now on!

Well done!
It is near-impossible for me to sound sincere on the internet.
Have fun, etc!

Fantastic news on all fronts CJ, congratulations.

Get the hessian toga and pink velvet balaclava ready.
Is anyone else pedantic enough to be bothered by people not adequately distinguishing between jealous and envious?

hessian toga and pink velvet balaclava > combined with gingham scrunch-band, faux leather briefcase with suicide girls sticker plastered at a jaunty angle and obligatory white patent ten-bob sliders, obviously. Lets not forget CJ, you’re a Hot Young Historian now.

Pedantic > No, dear.

And in my original post:
And then:
Yes you know I am, but in this case I chose the right word. Of course I am envious but that was not the theme of this particular thread.
Ha ha ha, perfect, thank you.
