Queues were rather immense. I've gotta disagree on the whole venue thing, though. I saw (wait for it...) The Wannadies there last year, and it was one of the best gigs of my life. Small, but not stupidly so, accoustics were ace, I thought. Maybe it was just biffy. Laeto pulled out at the last minuite, anyway. No shit, I didn’t get in. Queues were rather immense. Couldn't hear the vocals, due to two things: 1: Shite acoustics - it sounded like shoving a ghettoblaster in a sardine can. Also, what the FUCK had they done to the PA? 2: Drunken morons, standing directly behind me, shouting things such as ''mon the Biffy', and generally attempting to sing along in a typical loutish fashion. The Union is definitely not a good venue. Although, I can't complain: I was one of the lucky 200 hundred who nicked a FREE Fresher's Pass I was there at Biffy.

Couldn’t hear the vocals, due to two things:
