1. Kubrick was responsible for the Pinocchio retelling AI. If you’re a Kubrick fan this article about his estate is a fashinating inshight into his methods.
2. Asimov invented the 3 Laws of Robotics. His seminal works are to be big-screened in the upcoming I, Robot (charming official site).
3. I, Robot was also of course a groundbreaking coin-op game.
4. Actual state-of-the-art robotics is pretty impressive. Whether it’s synchronised Japanese dancing or football and acrobatics, the organic movement these wee lads can pull off is amazing.
5. Robotwisdom is a respected blog of interesting links.
6. exploding dog is poignant art-by-request and is the home of the red robot.
7. …and of course the subject line is these guys.

I like robots. In my degree film, I thought about making a twee story with a robot who must obey Asimov’s laws of robotics. In the end, sense prevailed, and the robot became a bastard with a zombie friend who liked bowling.
Now, I wonder why I got a third…
Kubrick wants me. Corpses and love.
