So, a cosy weekend there with lots of wine and homemade Italian. Tonight will be a toss-up between tackling the cascading piles of dishes or… playing new games. Which will triumph? Who can tell.
Gaming find of the week is the hyper-playable Unreal Tournament 2004, out now in demo form. This latest iteration is gameplay-focussed rather than the graphical candy boost that was ’2003. The big Halo-converging differences are the introduction of vehicles and fancy physics. Pure magic to play – the demo contains full multiplayer and AI bot action.
In other news I downloaded America’s Army – the official recruiting tool of the Shining Paladins Of Freedom and apparently a damn fine game to boot. I don’t want to like it but probably will.

Scissor Sisters > someone I went to school with who was far cooler than me now works for polydor. He sent me some of their stuff a while ago, and I totally loved them. Is there a song on the album about a cave resembling a large vagina? Total genius. Filthy and Gorgeous kills me every time.
‘Ms. Dana, you got it goin awn. You is gowageous’ Lol.

Italian > And here’s me thinking you had Antonio Carluccio tendancies. Crusty bread
(I am of course, joking. I eat my dinner out of an aluminium carton 5 days a week and am thus, no one to talk. Impressed)
