It feels like a long time since I last contributed anything to TF so I’m going to take some time out today to write up a few things. I’m not sure if Aaron and myself are going to manage a collaborative effort on a holiday report or not… It’s a pretty big undertaking and trying to remember everything is extremely difficult, partly due to the incredible amount of time we were intoxicated. It’s a very worthwhile task though so hold tight and you should get it before the end of the year.

So what have I been up to of late…?

Band:

Bee Thousand aren’t doing too badly for themselves, we played the Liquid Room on Saturday and Cafe Drummond in Aberdeen on Tuesday. The Liquid Room gig was really good even though we were all feeling the pressure (and the hangovers) – Degrassi and Part Chimp played excellent sets too. Tuesday in Aberdeen was our best gig – musically – so far, without doubt.

We’re also getting rid of our shite name before we head into the studio to record something properly. Ideas on a postcard… the band currently like 50 dollar whores.

Social Diary:

Had a great night out on Saturday after the gig. Everyone piled into the Southern Cross Cafe on Cockburn St for the aftershow. Great turnout, good chats with a lot of people and it was on to The Egg where I bumped into a phenomenal amount of people who hadn’t bothered to come to our show earlier in the evening leaving me feeling quite disappointed. Great night with the Chimp boys however and it was another one of those nights when it’s suddenly 7am and you realise you could party on for another few hours but the sensible thing to do is go to bed and chew your face off while sleeping.

Erm, I had no real idea about what to write in this entry and I’ve had notepad open for most of the day so I think this will do for now… hope everyone is well.
