This has been reported all over the shop, especially by the online music rags.
Reminds me of the hysteria a few months back when it was widely reported that My Bloody Valentine were back in the studio and were reforming! Turns out Kevin Shields was in the studio remastering some tracks for reissue, that’s all.
Forwarded the story on to Johnny yesterday who is a MASSIVE Pixies/Frank Black fan and he says the rumours of them reforming never cease. Although I’m sure none of them will have been as widely reported as this so you never know…

I’ve had numerous dreams where I’m playing in my favourite bands. The thing that gets me the most is how real the whole thing is. I was actually onstage in the Barrowlands playing the bass turning my head and seeing the audience and the rest of the band. And hearing it too, even new songs.
I’ve heard some new MBV material in my dreams!
I have recurring dreams where I lose the ability to walk. It is the scariest thing. And also where I’m trying to climb hills but reach a point where I can climb no more but I have to or I’ll fall and die.
It’s fairly obvious what these mean… : )
But the one where my teeth fall out is just fucked up.
