This won’t mean a thing to some of you but those of you in the know will hopefully find it as hilarious as I did:
Hippos at Edinburgh Zoo are tucking in to a special birthday cake to mark their home’s 90th birthday. Adults Fred and Leah and baby Lizzie are feasting on a specially-made concoction of carrot and banana ahead of a programme of events on Tuesday. On the day itself there will be a gorilla bouncy castle and a penguin birthday cake for visitors.
