Typical bornig* weekend, (usual work/sleep nonsense) until last night when that little ray of intellectual sunshine known to all as Mini Del, moved in almost next door to me, and saw fit to come out and get wasted with us. And Jeezy peeps kids, the boy’s chat is superb. Some complete gems coined throughout the evening and into the early hours, including:
‘Stu – Isn’t he that ginger dude from montrose? Yeah I dressed up as a woman with him once’
‘I have photos of Aaron and Ryan when they were at school. Yep, course I’ll let you borrow them’
‘Did you know that Paul Mosely was head boy?’
‘I’m in court tomorrow. D’ythink I can wear nail polish?’
And so on..
We headed off to the 3rd ever Dundee International Blues Festival late, and missed all the bands. But hey, The conversational penetration was both deep and satisfying, so whatever. The boy is def. sent from god..
Still totally unsure as to the plan for next year, (which is a tad disconcerting considering the fact that my lease ends in, err.. 10 days?) But will update further when some kind of concrete decision is made. Happy monday, kids. me xx
