An Easter weekend report is probably fair, with Christ dying for our sins an’ all. Stu’s already covered the hilarity of Thursday.
Friday
Arbroath. Fisherman’s. Del M, Ree, Ross M all drinking merrily. Kickout led swiftly to a house session courtesy of bruv Rich’s mate ‘Peetsie’. Think hardcore biker type, that’s the fella.
Peetsie notable for his encyclopaedic knowledge of bikes and a predilection for speed. To that end, his own bike has been converted into a nitrous-equipped Street Hawk number with a turbo button on the handlebars. No, really.
Why relevant? Turns out the 5-foot canister of N2O gas has some other interesting properties – they don’t call it laughing gas for nothing. Cheers to R and P for a frankly irresponsible evening ; )
Saturday
Spent with the Bell bros. touring the old haunts around Dundee and Arbroath in the sunshine.
That night’s entertainment came easy with Keith F and Andy L DJing at the Viewfield, ah the memories… correction, argh the memories. After Friday this was never going to be a big one, but some serious beer was demolished with the reebeast.
Sunday, Monday
Nil point – capable only of basic speech and game-playing. Just the way we like it.
