has decided to call a halt to the leftofsix website 2 weeks before it was sposed to go live, because.. well i’m still unsure of that one. Last time I saw the dev. site it was looking outstanding. Lyall Bruce from Sooperdd design has contributed about 3 of his fonts, I’ve done a couple. and so have some other kids, but we’ve neen left in the lurch a bit. Focknig colin. I think we’re gonna double team him.. watch this space.

Just happened to stumble upon your post here and can’t believe you post your ramblings here instead of directing them to my f’king mailbox!
The leftofsix project has changed direction for many good reasons…
1. Almost four months have passed and not one single font submission of substance from anyone!
2. You said “Lyall wasn’t interested” to me at college… which was fair enough.
3. Haven’t seen one single design from you since wayyyyy back!
4. Legally… too many loopholes business wise at the moment to organise.
Leftofsix has not been cancelled! It has simply changed direction, and who could f’king blame me. Let’s see… I’m expected to open a font foundry in 2 weeks with but two font designs of my own? … haha some foundry! Leftofsix will be my own personal space. My portfolio/journal and typeface section where people can buy my current designs for £5 a pop through PayPal (yup a bargain)!
The foundry idea is still on the cards if I actually get some design submissions that look usable. Untill then Leftofsix will be my portfolio space to hopefully secure some freelance work during the summer months.
