Hi folks. Well, I am back to full health this week after last weeks little blockage. I seriously thought I was developing a stomach ulcer but it turned out to be a nice bit of indigestion and constipation.
Oh, did you hear the one about the constipated maths teacher?
He worked it out with a pencil.
Taking Thursday and Friday off work was necessary, and a nice chat with the pharmacist in Boots led me to purchase some Senokot. Go here to marvel at an animation detailing how it works. Whilst watching said animation, imagine your very own Stu and how relieved he began to feel as the lovely, lovely Senna worked its magic. I think I visited the bathroom for a ‘sit down’ at least 8 times over Saturday and Sunday.
I have also discovered the amazing laxative effects of a nice pint of Guinness. Whilst out on Friday I had a couple of pints of the stuff and before I knew it I was sitting on the pan in Opium. And after a half hour and half pint I was back again for Round 2. And this was before I touched my Senokot… I now favour this method.
‘One day I was walkin down the street feelin all constipated and shit, thinkin about goin to get some Guinness, and this chick comes up to me and says, “hey dude, fuck that Guinness shit, take some senokot”, and I was like, “yeah, WHATEVER!”‘

*giggle* i’m glad it sorted you.
But can you imagine the poor bastard graphic designer who had to put that web animation on his CV?
Also, just learned today, that in 3rd year, we all take part in a competition from the International Society Of Typographic Designers. Well, its not so much of a competition as an exam. Basicly, you get a brief, negotiate it using only typography, and if you make the grade, then you get to become an associate, and put the appropriate letters behind your name. Fair enough, yeah? but the year after that, you can take another exam, to become a fellow. Which actually carries a lot of clout. But, and its a big but.. I dont think that being of the orientation that I am, i’ll be putting those particular letters behind my name.
