I went to see “Punch-Drunk Love” last night and was most impressed, it’s still not nearly as good as “Magnolia” but in saying that it’s a very different film. Paul Johnathan Thomas Mike Ringo is my new favourite director/writer, apologies to the Cohen brothers who are now running in second place, not that you’ll care because you can afford not to.

I went to see Metropolis last night and it was very good. Fritz Lang is now my favourite director but I wish he would release something new soon, it has been a while since the lazy fucker did anything…

too right.
Think we might head out to see PDL this Friday for a vaguely Lynchian V*#!@*#!@’s D**.
I read that PJT wanted to do something more straightforward after the stress of the sprawling Magnolia. Sprawling but great, obviously. Any good slapstick from Sandler?

Erm yes, if we all remember Metropolis was made in something like 1927.

He’s actually really good at playing a more serious role, but his random bouts of rage are to be chuckled at.
