Great story from today’s Record about a Scots born cleric who holds services dressed as Elvis Presley being given the Blue Suede Boot from the pulpit of his Ontario church. So Dorian Baxter, better known as Elvis Priestley, has founded his own church and regularly starts sermons with a burst of Blue Suede Shoes using the lyrics: “Well it’s one for the Father, Two for the Son, Three for the Holy Spirit, And your life has just begun.” He also belts out Return To Sender over coffins at funeral services.
