Geek fans rejoice, Monday saw a download and trial of the dinky Blitz Basic 3D, which some of you will under no circumstances remember from many years ago. Ah, to be back in the days when Amigas ruled the world and I wrote ALife programs in AMOS, nostalgia blah etc. Expect some hacked demos/games some time soon or never.
Did manage to escape the CRT glow for a couple of hours boarding in the pissing rain at the local slope, which was quite refreshing (no hordes of screaming snot-nosed queue-jumpers).
So far it’s again a busy week though, hacking through problems at work while trying to get everything documented before the great US adventure begins.
Talking of which, I finally booked our hotel in New York for the 22nd Feb… one of NY’s low-cost gems, the Chelsea Star. Despite (because of?) the comedy themes, it has actually been mentioned in a some UK papers (check the main page).

In other news, I spent a while last night sorting through piles of photographs. Got 50+ scans so far, will take a day or two to get the rest in and work out half-decent presentation and navigation.
